Welcome to Dark Universe

‘Bride of Frankenstein’ Airing Tonight on MeTV!

David Koepp

Looking for something fun to watch this weekend?  If you’re like us at Universal Monsters Universe, you’re probably going to watch Bride of Frankenstein this Saturday (4/9th) on MeTV.  The classic Universal Monster movie will air at 10 PM ET / 9 PM Central tonight on MeTV so make sure to check your local listings.  In the meantime, are there any Svengoolie fans out there?

Elsa Lanchester

If you’re as much a fan of the Bride as we are, then you’ve probably been keeping up to date on Universal’s currently in development Bride of Frankenstein reboot that will follow in the same Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe (or Universal Monsters Universe) of shared films, starting with June 2017’s The Mummy.  If you haven’t and you’re looking to be brought up to date in the most comprehensive way possible, make sure to check back next week as UMU plans on taking a closer look at Bride of Frankenstein.  If you’re looking for a hint as to the direction we’re heading in with this coverage, you may want to check out our Universal Monsters Universe & Everything We Know So Far and Rounding Out The Universal Monsters Universe Cast articles from a few weeks back.

It’s an exciting time for fans of the Universal Monsters as we’re not only 425 days away from The Mummy, opening June 9, 2017, but that we’re in the start of a new era of monsters that are currently in development at Universal.  UMU will be here for every tomb unearthed and every monster unleashed so, as always, stay tuned because the best is yet to come…

Also, I’d like to recommend checking out Joe’s profile on Elsa Lanchester as a part of UMU’s “Meet the Monsters” ongoing series.

But until then, Bride of Frankenstein is airing tonight on MeTV at 10 PM ET / 9 PM Central so be sure to tune in if you can and enjoy the weekend adventuring and monstering around.
