Welcome to Dark Universe

CONTEST: Win Sideshow Universal Monsters Little Big Heads!

Universal Monsters

Universal Monsters Universe has reached its three month milestone and we’re looking to celebrate the occasion.  In partnership with New York comic shop Royal Collectibles, get ready for UMU’s first monster sized contest/giveaway!

Universal Monsters

UPDATE: Congratulations to Crystal S of Michigan for winning the contest! Thank you to everyone that entered. This was the first of many.

It’s quite amazing for us at Universal Monsters Universe to look back on the past three months.  From our first article announcing the casting of Johnny Depp in The Invisible Man to one of our most recent – the exclusive announcement that Brian Tyler has been set as the composer for The Mummy, its been a fun ride.  Outside of our great excitement and hype for The Mummy, out June 2017, we’re also really big fans of the originals as well.  Be it having a month dedicated to The Mummy (“March of Mummies”) or talking about Dracula 1931, the universe of classic monsters that Universal gave us 85 years ago is still as popular as ever and has quite the global following.

We’re very excited to partner with Royal Collectibles, a local comic shop operating since 1992 and to present all of you with Universal Monsters Universe first ever contest/giveaway.  Royal Collectibles, owned by a major monsters enthusiast, Mike Giordano, has given us at Universal Monsters Universe the complete set of Sideshow’s Universal Studios Monsters “Little Big Heads” from series one.  Sculpted by Mat Falls, series one consists of:

  • The Mummy
  • The Bride of Frankenstein
  • The Wolf Man
  • The Creature from the Black Lagoon
  • The Invisible Man
  • The Phantom of the Opera
  • Dracula
  • Frankenstein

Little Big Heads

Little Big Heads from Sideshow.

An unruly assortment of the world’s classic characters recreated in this unique style.  Get your heads together, collect them all!

Looking to add Sideshow’s Universal Studios Monsters “Little Big Heads” to your collection?  Make sure to enter below at no cost.  Whoever wins, we’ll ship to you!  Here’s our way of saying thank you to all of you that have continued to follow and support us at Universal Monsters Universe.  Good luck, have fun, and we promise this will be the first of many.
