Marvel Comics Is About To Unleash The Monsters!

Marvel Comics

Earlier this month, Universal Monsters Universe listed the five things we want to see in Marvel’s Monsters Unleashed and asked you, our fans, what you would want to see.  Marvel Comics has recently released a general idea of what the new title will consist of.  While it will not contain the classic Universal Monsters, it should be a fun read nonetheless.

Just imagine a world where monsters of all shapes, sizes and species are rising up and attacking cities and towns.  Who will stop them?  How could they be stopped?  Well, the Marvel Super Heroes will stop them…or at least try.  As to how the monsters can be stopped, that’s something we’ll have to wait until January 2017 to find out.  With the entire roster out in full-force to do battle, it will sure make an exciting read at a great time for Marvel, especially coming off the heels of Civil War‘s big theatrical run and recent Blu-ray release.  This season on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will see the appearance of the Robbie Reyes incarnation of Ghost Rider.

“It’s all hands on deck, as the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men, Inhumans and Champions, joined by a who’s who of solo stars – Deadpool, Spider-Man, Black Panther – battle an endless deluge of monsters and the mysterious force that controls them.  Will the combined might of the Marvel Super Heroes be enough to save the day?  Or will they need help to arrive from the unlikeliest of places?”

Judging from the promotional image, we will see a giant serpent, an insect-looking creature and something that looks like Sasquatch, among others doing battle Iron Man, The Hulk and more.  There may not be the five things UMU wanted to see in Monsters Unleashed but it sounds like a fun concept.  Were you expecting classic monsters?  Did you want to see something different like a monster-hero team-up?  Share your thoughts with us!
