Dracula Lives Again! Marvel Releasing Classic Horror Comics this Halloween!

Dracula lives again in Marvel Comics’ “Tomb of Dracula: The Complete Collection Vol. 1”!

Out of the two powerhouse publishers, Marvel Comics made the most out of the classic monsters during their 70’s popularity with titles such as “Tomb of Dracula,” “The Frankenstein Monster,” and “Werewolf by Night.” Years ago, these titles were more readily available for fans to read as Marvel reprinted nearly their entire library of comics past. Unfortunately, “Tomb of Dracula” has been out of print for a few years… but all that is soon to change as our favorite vampire, Count Dracula, lives again!

Releasing right in time for this coming Halloween season, Marvel will be releasing “Tomb of Dracula: The Complete Collection” Vol. 1, along with “Marvel Horror: The Magazine Collection”!

Tomb of Dracula

“Tomb of Dracula” was an important series in Marvel Comics history as this was the series that first introduced the world to to the now iconic and famous vampire hunter named Blade – the daywalker! The series also featured writers such as Gerry Conway, Archie Goodwin, Gardner Fox, and Marv Wolfman, and artists such as Gene Colan, Alan Weiss, Rich Buckler, and Neal Adams.

  1. This is great news! I remember calling all over the country in the 80’s, trying to complete my collection. Sadly, they got lost in a move, but I’m delighted to know they will be printed again. Where can I get my copy??

  2. I remember seeing those monster comics all over the place in the 70s when I was a kid. I’m glad at least the Dracula one is being rereleased (or is it re-rereleased?). I wish all those great old comics were still in print. I still miss Gold Key, Charlton, and a bunch of others.
